Back in fall of 2019, when the Seattle Design Festival (SDF) organizers chose “About Time” as SDF’s theme, the organizers made their selection based on the fact that 2020 marked festival’s tenth anniversary.

Reconnect with Community at the 2021 Seattle Design Festival

Every year, the Seattle Design Festival brings together designers, community members, experts, city officials, and business leaders to celebrate and explore how design improves the quality of our lives and our community. We prioritize accessibility as we plan all of our Festival events, and require all Festival Partners to prioritize safety, inclusivity, equity, and accessibility when designing their experiences. Each year, we release a call for proposals, and our community responds with experiences, events, exhibits, and installations that address it.
